Public directory disappears, reappears, disappears…

Just 15 minutes ago I was surprised that an image i hosted at was not showing up in the browser. When I checked the image URL alone I got a 404, indeed. Same for the base URL above. My public stuff simply seemed to not exist anymore.

After some erratic fiddling around with the Keybase app on my machine and opening my Keybase account in the browser, I suddenly could see the public directory again. OK, then.

However, after approx. 10 more minutes same procedure: image not showing, public dir not existing, fiddling around, then everything is there again.

Confusing.

Any idea what could be going on here?

Start with the reported keybase.pub/p3k and base URLs using the listed Keybase GUI version, and compare availability across the reported disappear/reappear cycle. No source file or test is named, so trace the public-directory path from that behavior. Done means the intermittent 404 is explained and stable public-directory availability is verified.
