Description

The groups have different memberships. I am unable to rename either one.

This may have happened because we joined the team at a VERY early stage and there was probably some errors on my part during the setup.
What can I do to delete one of these channels?

Research direction
Start by reproducing the Keybase teams chat state shown in the screenshots, including the different memberships for #general and ##general.
