Description

Keybase GUI Version: 1.0.34-20171027003854+8e989533a

I've installed KeyBase on my desktop, and phone
I was unable to complete provisioning, and uninstalled/reinstalled the app on both devices
Apparently a device was created 'dev01' and I am prompted to use that device to prove I'm me
but neither scanning the QR code on my desktop on my phone nor entering the text code from my phone on the desktop works, in both cases it hangs completely.

Is there a way to completely remove all devices and return to a completely unprovisioned state so I can try again? I understand I can't reuse device names, but Keybase seems to think I already have a device, which I don't.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the desktop-to-phone provisioning flow described in the issue, including QR-code scanning and text-code entry, and inspect where the process hangs. Done means a user can clear the orphaned device state or complete provisioning successfully after reinstalling both applications.
