Description

The photo from my Github proof does not show up in the client or the Keybase website. When I click on the photo edit icon in the client, I reveice the message: "For now, Keybase shows your profile photo from your Twitter or Github proofs. If you'd like to prioritize one service, you can change that setting on the Keybase website." I have no Twitter proof, so I would expect the Github proof photo to be used. But instead none is displayed. I also cannot find the prioritization option on the website. Instead, if I click the photo edit icon there, I see the message: "You need a public key before you can put photos on your profile."

Research direction

Start by reproducing the missing Github proof photo in both the client and the Keybase website, including the photo edit flows described in the report. Trace how Github proofs supply profile photos and how the website prioritization setting is exposed; the issue is done when the Github photo appears without a Twitter proof and the relevant setting or message is correct.
