Description
While looking at the CLI I saw this --topic-type flag. I have no idea what it was for, so I decided to try it with my brand new single-channel team. I ran keybase chat send --topic-type dev teamname 'testing flags', and immediately my team got converted to a "big team", with a message about how I created a new channel and whatnot. This is very confusing because there doesn't appear to be any new channel, just a dev version of #general (which isn't visible in the GUI).

Research direction
Start by tracing the CLI handling of keybase chat send --topic-type dev and reproduce it against a single-channel team. Determine why the command converts the team and whether the behavior or its explanation should change; done means the command no longer causes an unexplained conversion, or clearly communicates the resulting channel behavior.
