Description

OS: Windows 7

I've recently removed a couple of devices then uninstall and reinstalled Keybase on one of those devices and then setup it up as new device.

Since then i'm not able to login to the Windows client with my passphrase and receive the error:

"Error: Bad key family: not found for X"

Yet i'm still able to login via keybase.io?

Research direction

Start with the reported Windows 7 sequence: remove devices, uninstall and reinstall the Windows client, set it up as a new device, and attempt login with the passphrase. Done means the client accepts the passphrase after this sequence without reporting “Bad key family: not found for X”; the issue does not name files or tests to inspect.
