Description

Hello. I was trying to update Keybase and in the middle of installation I've been notified that file Keybase.msi can't be accessed and I should provide a path to the file. I have found the file in my home directory and paste it into a notification pop up window but installation couldn't be finished anyway. I couldn't find any solution in the web. Installation log file as below[1]. Any help appreciated. Thanks. /Mike

Research direction

Start by reproducing the Windows 10 update or installation failure and inspect the linked installation log for the missing Keybase.msi path and subsequent errors. Trace the installer component responsible for locating or requesting that MSI; done means a clean update completes without the path prompt. No source file or test is named, so identify the relevant installer area first.
