Description

One thing I’ve noticed in the bug reports is a request for new services to prove identities in. I think users would file fewer bugs of this nature if you had a list of services divided up into “next on our list”, “under consideration”, “considered, found non-trivial”, “implemented and currently broken” (which would let you trash all the Facebook bugs at once. :‐)

Proof of telephone number and proof of email address have got to be frequent requests too. If you feel like it, sketch why they are problematic and point people there.

Research direction

No file, test, or entry point is named. Review the documentation structure and confirm the service categories and current status or plans with maintainers; done means the list covers the requested identity services and optionally explains telephone and email verification issues.
