Description

There's a world of PGP tooling out there that wants a PGP private key. If you enter the PGP world through the keybase door, it's currently quite easy to get lost (see #7082). Documenting the keybase pgp export -s command along with some good key storage hygiene tips (where to put the file, etc), would be most helpful.

Thanks for considering this suggestion!

Research direction

Start by locating the existing documentation for Keybase PGP commands and the help or entry point for keybase pgp export -s. Document how to use the command and include the requested private-key storage hygiene guidance; done means a newcomer can export the key and understand where to store the resulting file safely.
