Description

Tried setting up the Android app on my Pixel XL, and no matter what, I couldn't get the camera window to focus on the QR code. It appeared pretty blurry in the window, and wouldn't read the QR code at all.

Tapping on the camera window, which is how I think most camera apps focus, didn't do anything. After a minute or so of trying, I could not get the QR code to read, so I just typed in the code manually.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the QR scanning flow on an Android Google Pixel XL and inspect the camera behavior when the code is shown. Done means the preview focuses on the QR code and reads it successfully without requiring manual code entry.
