I had a case today where I typed in chat and the line of input became longer than the window was wide, and the line was not automatically wrapped. Manually resizing the Window made the input line visible again. When I resized again the lines in chat (both input line and chat history) were rewrapped to fit the window width. Was not able to trigger that behavior again yet.
