Description
Seems to be similar to issue # 4097. And though I commented there it looks like its been closed so I'm starting a new one. When launched from terminal the indicator shows up. Clicking the indicator brings up the "Your are logged out of Keybase" window. When clicking login it launches the GUI but just hangs at "Loading" The GUI app works fine on Windows but not on this laptop. I followed instructions and installed app as described here ... https://keybase.io/docs/the_app/install_linux I also tried moving /usr/bin/keybase to a different directory as described on another thread. That didn't work so I moved it back. Still nothing. Can you offer some guidance?

Research direction
Start with the Linux installation instructions linked in the issue and reproduce the GUI launch from a terminal on Ubuntu 16.10. Check the behavior around /usr/bin/keybase and the transition from the indicator to the login window; done means the GUI loads past "Loading" after login.
