I'm not entirely clear what the root of this problem is, but KBFS no longer contains public or private folders.

I'm working on a Fedora 25 machine.

Research direction

No files, tests, or entry points are identified. Start by reproducing the missing private and public folders on Fedora 25 and use log ID eb08b7c606e579f6116f421c to investigate the KBFS behavior; done means both folders are available again.
