Description

Hi!

After installing Keybase (1.018.472) on Windows10, 64bit I decided to uninstall it. But this does not remove the "Keybase (K:)" drive. It is still shown as a drive, but without its icon (default white paper icon).

I had to delete the following registry entry to get rid of it:

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Applications\Explorer.exe\Drives\K]

Research direction

Reproduce the uninstall on Windows 10 with Keybase 1.018.472 and inspect whether the K: drive and its Explorer registry entry remain. Done means uninstalling Keybase removes the drive entry and its associated icon registration without manual registry deletion.
