Keybase GUI Version: 1.0.18-20161219185928+7868d49
On Mac, ran example from web page. Has not done anything after 20 mins.
Not following Chris or anything, before running that ls on /keybase/public showed two entries, mine and person following. Listing his empty folder and my one with stuff in it worked fine.
