Research direction

No file, test, or entry point is named; start by locating the macOS global shortcut handling and the system-tray click behavior in the Electron client. Reproduce both reported symptoms and verify that the shortcut is not captured without an overlay and that clicking the tray icon does not open Chrome developer tools.
