Description

Keybase GUI Version: 1.0.18-20161116172108+b3e405d

I signed up for Keybase online, then downloaded the client and set up my laptop as a device. Later that day, my laptop died when it ran out of battery (forgot to plug it in). When I restarted it, Keybase was logged out. I went to log in, and it asked me to log in with one of my other devices, including this laptop. I've had to create a new device for it with a different name, and then revoke the old device.

Research direction

No file, test, or entry point is named. Start by reproducing the logout after an unexpected battery shutdown and trace the device-login flow; done means the laptop remains recoverable as the same device instead of requiring a new device.
