Description

Keybase GUI Version: 1.0.17-20160930202009+0229d49

I have Keybase in my Login Items in macOS, the app does not prompt for login when started this way, resulting in the app engaging Secure Input, which prevents text snippet expansion tools from working. Took me awhile to figure out it was Keybase holding on to the Secure Input. Shouldn't Keybase be prompting the user at every startup when a Login Item? I am seeing no such prompt, need to clock on the menubar item and then login.

Research direction

No source file or test is named. Start by reproducing the behavior with Keybase configured as a macOS Login Item, then inspect the startup and login flow; done means startup prompts for login and does not leave Secure Input enabled when the user has not logged in.
