Description

I get an 'Access denied' while using the Windows client to attempt either of the following:

  • from 'C:\private' , issuing the command 'cd jwinkler', or
  • from 'C:\private', issuing the command 'mkdir jwinkler'

I just installed yesterday.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the Windows client behavior from C:\private with both cd jwinkler and mkdir jwinkler, then inspect the client’s handling of filesystem permissions and the available error output. Done means the cause of the access denial is identified and the reported commands behave correctly or produce a clear, actionable error.
