Description
When attempting to launch the keybase client on MacOS X I receive a notification that /keybase/Backups.backupdb is not a Keybase folder. All folders begin with /keybase/private or /keybase/public.
After entering my username into the client, it returns the following message:
There was an error provisioning
ERROR: openpgp: unsupported feature: hash not available: 9
my log id: edadd4b0d45ee519bec16c1c

Research direction
Start by reproducing the launch and provisioning failure on macOS X 10.11.6, then inspect the client logs using log id edadd4b0d45ee519bec16c1c and the reported OpenPGP hash error. Done means the client starts and provisioning completes without the Backups.backupdb or unsupported-hash errors.
