Description

I created an GPG key on my local machine, configured it in the keybase.io website and now I'm trying to get the keybase app running but after entering my username and password I get 'There was an error provisioning' 'Unknown error: Error: No matching private GPG keys found on this device"

I'm running ubuntu xenial.

This command correctly shows the fingerprint I have configured on keybase.io:
gpg -K --keyid-format long --with-colons --with-fingerprint

my log id: 6f24467fc117747b5044db1c

Research direction

Start by reproducing provisioning on Ubuntu Xenial with the reported GPG command and log ID 6f24467fc117747b5044db1c. Trace the provisioning entry point to determine why the configured private key is not recognized, then verify that the app completes provisioning with the reported key.
