CLI on OSX has "failed to stat " and "permission denied" on every command

Hello team,
Just installed the latest keybase (1.0.16-20160707110020+ee537fc) on OSX 10.11.5. Been playing with the CLI, and getting constant pings with the error:
fatal: failed to stat '/keybase/public/ismirnov/..': Permission denied
Is this normal? Anything I an do to help debug? I get this error anytime I navigate anywhere within /keybase
