keybase login fails - "Message wasn't signed"

Description
I was unsure if this was the best place to report this as I figure this is an issue with my personal setup or account. I'm user 'jwb' (jwb@paravolve.net) and whenever I attempt to login with keybase login:
Your keybase username or email address: jwb@paravolve.net
▶ ERROR Message wasn't signed
After supplying my email address the GUI password prompt comes up (running OS X) and I enter my password there at which point I get the error above. I can login to the web ui without issue.
I was an earlier user of kbfs and I'm wondering if those betas somehow left my system or account in this state. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
