Cannot chat after reset

Description
I recently reset my account, but I am unable to chat with my friend tricyrcle.
I have attached a screenshot of my client which says "Since you reset your account, participants have to accept to let you back in.". See tmarble.png
However my friend cannot initiate a chat with me either!?

How can I unblock chats with old friends?
