Description

anyway, somebody mulched the filename in the windows install manifest, as a result I havent been able to reinstall for a long time. i imagine this affects everyone that used that windows installer, and will ever need to reinstall.

Do these screencap uploads work? {screen cap of the windows msi error below}

Youll see the mismanagement of the filename : Keybase_5.2.*{right here there shouldnt be a space}* 1-20202225124929+9845113a89.amd64.msi

the system will never find that.

Research direction

Start by locating the Windows install manifest and inspect how it constructs the Keybase MSI filename shown in the report. Correct the filename handling so the installer can find the package, then verify that reinstalling through the Windows installer succeeds.
