Description
When I try deleting a folder with many files, I keep getting timeout errors. I've tried deleting with MacOS Finder itself, it gives the following error:
"The operation can’t be completed because some items had to be skipped. For each item, choose File > Get Info, make sure “Locked” is deselected, and then check the Sharing & Permissions section. When you are sure the items are unlocked and not designated as Read Only or No Access, try again."
When trying to delete using Beyond Compare, files are not deleted with the error:
"I/O error"
The Keybase error message is as follows:
The write operation took too long and failed.
Please run 'keybase log send' so our admins can review

Research direction
The report names no source file or test. Start by reproducing the timeout while deleting the specific folder on macOS and run keybase log send with log ID 072942bcd646b45132d2281c; done means the cause is identified and folder deletion no longer times out.
