Description

Hello,

If you type the `:` character in chat on the Desktop Client [Linux], the entire teams/chat list refreshes--most notable due to a flash of unstyled (and non-alphanumerically-sorted) content. It can be quite disturbing / disruptive, and if you have a considerable number of chats/teams/channels, it can even lead to slowing the app down considerably -- writing messages that contain this character.

Research direction

Reproduce this in the Linux Desktop Client by typing `:` in a chat and observe the team/chat list. Trace the chat input and list-refresh path; done means typing the character leaves the list sorted and stable without a visual flash or disruptive slowdown.
