I/O error when trying to list a particular directory

Description
The only reason I detected this was because the backup software I'm initializing (borg) tripped on it. So, I don't know how long the issue has been there or if there is a way to recover. My existing (duplicty) backups don't seem to have any record of what was in the directory 😕
