Description

The only reason I detected this was because the backup software I'm initializing (borg) tripped on it. So, I don't know how long the issue has been there or if there is a way to recover. My existing (duplicty) backups don't seem to have any record of what was in the directory 😕

Research direction

Start by reviewing log id 965e9346dd28dbd7b700d71c to determine which directory-listing operation produced the I/O error. Reproduce the failure if possible using the reported backup context, then identify the affected path and establish a verified fix or recovery path; the issue does not currently define a specific expected behavior.
