Description
I have a server at home and when I try to open Keybase at a different location it doesn't open. I need to connect to my VPN and make that SMB share available again so Keybase will open. If I eject the share, close Keybase and reopen keybase, my share will be connected by the OS again.
I am on Mac OSX 10.15.6.
Keybase GUI Version: 5.5.0-20200526170801+139bb348af

Research direction
Start by reproducing the report on macOS 10.15.6 with Keybase GUI 5.5.0 and an unavailable SMB share, then compare behavior with the share ejected or restored through VPN. Trace the desktop startup path responsible for opening Keybase and confirm that the application opens without requiring the unavailable share.
