Description

Been using Keybase since last 3 years. I messed up with the Keychain on macOS that resulted in me being logged out of everything I use. That being said, I'm using the desktop app. I do have a paper key which I set 3 years back. I have added my phone number and email to my Keybase account. Now please tell me how do I reset my password without resetting my whole account and losing all my data. There has to be some way. Have tried login using the paper key keybase -login paperkey, it asks for the password. Strange, why would I use paper key if I forgot the password. I have installed keybase on only one device and I have been logged out of both browser and desktop app after the keychain mess up. Can you guys help?

Research direction

No source file or test is identified; begin with the keybase -login paperkey entry point and the desktop-app account-recovery flow. Done would require a documented, supported way to recover access with the paper key without resetting the account or losing data, which this issue does not define in code-level terms.
