Description

Keybase GUI Version: 5.3.0-20200310142606+4f2689009b

On my windows system, I have my taskbar on the left-hand side, vertically. The keybase app seems to assume that this space is always visible, because clicking the taskbar icon opens a little popup in this area, which is under and obscured by my taskbar. As far as I can tell, this popup isn't re-positionable and there's not a setting that can tell it to, for example, be on the right instead of the left of my screen.

See the attached image where I shrunk my taskbar to its minimum size (normally I have it a bit wider) and it's still weirdly obscured (though sorta usable). Just looks bad.

I think either the popup should detect and avoid being covered up by the task bar (like move itself over if the taskbar is on the left as mine is), or it should have a setting or be draggable so I can move it.

Research direction

The report names no file, test, or entry point. Reproduce the popup with a vertically oriented Windows taskbar on the left, then locate the GUI's taskbar-popup positioning path; done means the popup is no longer obscured by the taskbar and its behavior is covered by an appropriate check.
