Description

Hey everyone,

I have searched for ages but couldn't find anything on this matter.

What I would like to know is how one would go about disabling the public folder in the Finder.

Personally I think it's a risk putting something in there accidentally and therefore exposing the contents to the whole internet.

If that's not possible maybe a second step for approval could be added inside the app.

Any help is much appreciated.

Cheers

Research direction

The issue concerns the Finder's public-folder exposure, but names no files, tests, or implementation entry points. Begin by locating how the public folder is exposed in Finder and clarify whether the intended outcome is disabling it or adding an approval step; done requires an agreed, tested behavior.
