Notifications not triggered on Android

I have 3 devices with Keybase installed and I hardly get notifications on any of them unless I check for messages manually, due to which I miss lots of messages.

Also the Keybase isn't using the custom notification tone even when i have the setting "Use mobile system default notification sound' unchecked.

Is this happening to me only or others also?
