Description

I had a git repo inside my kbfs (I wanted the auto-sync of kbfs and the history inspection of git). I realize this is probably not ideal but I'm very good at git and thought I could handle it. Unfortunately now that I have moved this repo elsewhere, all of my other files are broken symlinks to a some git-annex repo that I don't know how to access.

What can I do to fix this or troubleshoot further?

Research direction

Start by reviewing the KBFS behavior described in the report and use log ID 5a7c1a151119c7169b861e1c for troubleshooting. Reproduce the broken symlink state after moving the git repository, then determine whether the links can be restored or what recovery steps should be documented.
