Description

Good afternoon! I've been off of Keybase for a while but I kept my paper key. I finally decided to follow up on all the emails I've been getting about messages.

Unfortunately, when I try to provision a new device (computer or mobile) I get the following message:
ERROR bad session: server rejected session; is your device revoked?

I've seen a few other issues but they don't seem to answer my question. Does this have something to do with the Spacedrop? I super don't care about that, I just want my messages. What's going on here?

Research direction

No file, test, or entry point is named in the report. Start by reproducing device provisioning with the retained paper key and inspect the session-rejection path; done means identifying why the server rejects the session and verifying a fix for provisioning and message access.
