Description

I cannot enable Keybase in Finder. Every time I try to, the app relaunches and I get this error message:

Screen Shot 2019-11-03 at 12 19 10 PM

What does that even mean? I think this error message could be greatly improved. I have no idea what device slots are, how many there are, what's using them, and the message doesn't say if that's even the problem for sure.

macOS Mojave 10.14.6, Keybase 4.7.2

Research direction

Reproduce the Finder enablement failure on macOS Mojave using Keybase 4.7.2, and review the screenshot and log ID a326c2fb37b18125d8d2921c. No source file or test is named, so first locate the code that presents the device-slots error. Done means the message clearly explains the cause, device slots, and relevant usage or limit.
