Description

I copied over my portable apps toolset that i use on multiple machines, but i cannot run them.

When i click on any program, i get:
"Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permission to access the item"

There seem to be no security properties to the files to grant rights in windows and chmod on the git bash doesnt modify the rights, which have excutable enabled anyway.

using Windows 10 pro for workstations ver 10.0.18362.356

Research direction

No source file, test, or entry point is mentioned. Start by reproducing the failure on Windows 10 with programs stored on the K: drive, then trace how the client exposes or launches files there; done means portable programs can run from K: without the reported access error.
