Cannot login nor reset pass phrase and Android app error messages

Cannot login either using the QR code or typing in the phrase words - the app on both windows and android just hang or throw error messages of different kinds! This is ridiculous! Also cannot reset the pass phrase or password as you apparently have no automatic reset in place, I mean come on seriously?! No support or help on hand either, tried Twitter and no reply!

Start by reproducing the QR-code and phrase-word login attempts, plus passphrase and password reset flows, on the Windows and Android clients. Record which error messages appear and where either client hangs; done means the reported login and recovery failures are resolved and the flows complete successfully.
