Description

Dragging a file into /keybase/private/ or /keybase/public/ with Finder gives the error "A newer version of this file already exists". Pressing "Stop" or "Replace" dismisses the dialog, but no file remains.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the Finder drag operation into /keybase/private/ and /keybase/public/, using the linked screencast and log id 89d93dbb2c0d802d9e725b1c for context. Done means Finder no longer reports that a newer version exists and the dragged file remains in the destination.
