Description
On Linux Mint 18.3 KDE w/ Firefox 68.0.1 as default browser.
It would present the instructions to press the button below & something about a form, but pressing it did nothing but change the button to the "I did it" one, which of course would fail.
Going through the process on a Windows client worked fine & only at that point was I able to see what was supposed to happen.

Research direction
No source file, test, or entry point is named. First reproduce Reddit verification on Linux Mint 18.3 with Firefox 68.0.1 as the default browser and compare it with the working Windows flow; done means the verification button opens the browser and the process can complete.
