Linux client missing / unreadable "Add Device" text

When I added my Android device, after I entered my username, it clearly stated that I needed to verify using an existing device upon presenting me with the list of devices to do so with.

When I tried to add my Linux device, after entering my username I was only presented with a list of my already-registered devices- in which case there was only one at the time. It looked like I was only able to add that device, but I didn't want to add that one I wanted to add the Linux one I was using the client on. I didn't know what that dialog was asking of me until after I saw the descriptor text on the Android stating what that list was actually of.

Start by reproducing the device-add flow in the Linux client after entering a username, then compare its device-selection dialog with the Android flow shown in the screenshot. Trace where the dialog's explanatory or "Add Device" text is defined, and consider the issue done when the Linux dialog clearly explains which existing device must be used for verification.
