Description

What I did

I was chatting with a person and wanted to access the kbfs private directory for that person. I went to the Files section of the app.

What happened

In the Files page I couldn't see a private directory for the person I was chatting. I couldn't see anyway to get to it either on the Files page or on the users profile or via the chat window with them.

What I expected to happen

To have an option to access private files for any user I want to send files, and be able to go to a users shared private files from their profile, or to go to their private files from a chat conversation.

Why did I expect this

The Mac desktop app offers the second two things. It seems reasonable to me that on the Android client it would be possible to upload files to shared private folders that haven't been used yet.

Research direction

Start with the Android Files page, user profile, and chat window, then compare how the Mac desktop app exposes a person's private files. Define the Android entry points for opening a user's shared private files and uploading to an unused shared private folder. Done means both navigation paths and file sending are available for the requested users.
