Description

This is related to fixing my log id: 00adfce98d15c9ffacfc1b1c

I was advised to reinstall with the latest binary of Keybase. However, the current .msi installer terminates with the message:

"This installation package is not supported by this processor type. Contact your product vendor."

This is regarding the current installer which I've just downloaded directly from the keybase.io website today:

Name: keybase_setup_amd64.msi

Keybase is being used on a 32-bit W10 installation with a quad-core Intel Atom 1.5Ghz processor.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the failure on the reported 32-bit Windows 10 system with keybase_setup_amd64.msi and compare it with the installer’s supported processor types. Done means the project has a defined resolution for this architecture error and the installer behaves accordingly.
