Description
It seems that the keybase daemons /usr/bin/keybase and /usr/bin/kbfsfuse are constantly sending a small amount of data across the network at all times even when I'm not doing anything.
I haven't looked into what the payload actually is, but this could probably be eliminated, which would be especially nice for clients on low-bandwidth networks (e.g. tethering)

Research direction
