Stuck in 'Drop file here' State (macOS)

Upon opening a conversation in the Keybase app, I found that there was an overlay over the chat view, waiting for a file to be dropped onto it (see attached screenshot).
Was still able to use the text input, but the overlay prevented me from clicking anywhere else. Restart solved it, but I don't remember dragging anything into Keybase to begin with. Turns out my chat partner at the time has also noticed the described behaviour before, so I thought I'd let you know.
