Messages with ASCII smileys are now annoying to type

I tend to use smileys like `:-)` and `:-P` often while typing. With the new `:smileys:` that is no longer possible because `:-)` gets turned into the first suggestion which is `:flag-cc:`

Edit: I realise I could continue typing, but the suggestions are really annoying to have them pop up constantly. Could there be a setting for `:smiley:` support?

Start at the chat message composer where typing `:-)` and `:-P` triggers the `:smileys:` suggestions. Trace how those suggestions are enabled and determine how a setting for ASCII smiley support should affect them; done means frequent ASCII smileys no longer cause unwanted suggestions while normal emoji lookup remains usable.
