Description

After multiple requests for entering admin credentials:

I tried this multiple times (even with more than a few minutes in-between) but always with the same result.

Based on [this comment](https://github.com/keybase/client/issues/11240#issuecomment-378851609) in issue #11240, I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling keybase but the issue persists.

Maybe also of interest:

```
/> ls /keybase/
KBFS_NOT_RUNNING
```

my log id: 57da329f1c5c73f8522ef41c

*edited to add*: macOS Mojave. Keybase ran without issues until the update, even the KBFS part.

Research direction

Start with the macOS Mojave context, the repeated administrator-credential prompt, the `KBFS_NOT_RUNNING` output, and log ID `57da329f1c5c73f8522ef41c`. Reproduce the mountdir installation failure and trace the relevant current KBFS installation entry point; done means Keybase installs the mountdir and `/keybase/` no longer reports `KBFS_NOT_RUNNING`.
