Description
I first tried to search with e.g. "https://example.com" but that didn't find anything. However, I then found that searching for just "example.com" finds the account tied to that domain.
(1) It would be nice if the search could detect urls and strip out everything except the domain before executing the search.

Research direction
Start by reviewing the commandline, web, and app search fields and the existing search behavior for a full URL versus its domain. Document the accepted query forms and make URL searches resolve consistently to the domain; done means the behavior and guidance are aligned across all three interfaces.
