Unable to read the secret phrase to pair a device with my account

I have installed Keybase on my laptop. I want to install Keybase on my phone as well. I have done that successfully, installed the app on my phone. I sign in, and i get to the point where it tells me to authenticate using another machine.

I choose the machine I desire to use, and go to the "type secret instead on my laptop to type in whatever needs to be typed in. However, I cannot accomplish the pairing. I use TalkBack on my android phone which runs Android 7.0. As a totally blind individual, I need this information to be somehow exposed so that Talkback can read it to me and I can pair my device, add it to my account.

This is the same issue on the iPhone as well. I'm sure that those who are blind would like to use this service. Accessibility of all aspects of it should be investigated and addressed when and where possible.

Start by reproducing the device-pairing flow on Android with TalkBack and on iPhone, focusing on the step where the laptop displays the secret phrase. Investigate how that phrase is exposed to assistive technologies; done means a blind user can have the phrase read aloud and complete pairing on both platforms.
