Mac client - unable to Invite to Team by email - hangs

I am unable to invite a new team member by email address using the Mac client.

Steps to reproduce:

- click Teams
- select a team
- click "Add people..." button
- select "By email"
- enter an email address
- click the Invite button

Expected result:

- invitation is created and I'm informed about it

Actual result:

- appears to do nothing - the dialog remains open. I can close the dialog and continue using the app, so it hasn't crashed.

Start by reproducing the Mac client flow: Teams, a team, Add people..., By email, an address, and Invite. Trace the team invitation entry point and verify that an invitation is created and the dialog reports it instead of remaining open.
